Pekka Frantti to lead commercial completion of OL3 EPR project

Teollisuuden Voima (TVO) has appointed Mr Pekka Frantti, M.Sc. (Eng), as Senior Vice President, OL3 Commercial Completion.

Mr Frantti will lead, supported by the TVO team, the commercial completion of the OL3 EPR project with the aim at ensuring that TVO´s financial interests and economic conditions are safeguarded amid the completion of the project and commissioning of the plant unit.

Prior to joining TVO, Pekka Frantti worked as a management consultant. His most recent executive responsibility is from 2010 to 2015 as CEO of GS-Hydro Group, and he has held leadership positions also in YIT (today Caverion) and ABB.

Mr Frantti reports to Jarmo Tanhua, President and CEO of TVO and will work in close collaboration with Jouni Silvennoinen, Senior Vice President and OL3 Project Director.

OL3 EPR nuclear power plant unit is the most advanced European representative of the EPR technology developed by the French nuclear industry. The OL3 EPR project has proceeded to its final phases and is progressing towards the start of the regular electricity production at the end of 2018.
